In this this webinar, Tracy Atkinson will introduce you to the 2,000-5,000 year old sacred art and science called Jyotish or Vedic astrology. Vedic Astrology originated in India and has been used through the millennia by astrologers and yogis, gurus and priests, as a tool to relieve suffering and to offer insight into such subjects as life direction and purpose, marriage, education, family, health, wealth, and spirituality, and other subjects both internal and external.

We will explore a brief history of Jyotish, the meaning of the twelve houses and the archetypal meaning of the nine planets and their rulerships. Tracy will also introduce the concept of timing and prediction of life themes and events in Vedic Astrology. This discussion will include planetary transits, as well as the system of “dasas” or planetary periods, which is unique to Vedic Astrology.
